Why does fluorescent lamp not work?
2013-02-23 15:40:35

Failure reasons: 1. Power is not turned on; the lamp filament burns out (for electronic ballasts); lamp connector poor contact; 4. Ballasts damage; 5. Lamp leak (for cold cathode ballasts); 6. starter damage (for the magnetic ballast).
Remedy: 1. Check ballasts whether the 220V power, if not, check the power distribution system. 2. Measured with a multimeter lamp filament resistance is normal, if not normal then the lamp damaged, try to replace the lamp. Check connectors whether oxidation, try to re-install these parts. Try to replace the ballast. Generally magnetic ballast less easily broken, and the relatively high failure rate for electronic ballasts. Try changing the tube. 6. Starter short circuit, the lamp should starter luminous starter This shows the open-circuit failure occurred, try to replace the starter can.
