How does induction lamp works?
2012-11-21 16:52:17

Induction lamps has no electrodes, rely on the basic principle of electromagnetic induction, and a gas discharge and light emission. No filament and the electrode so that the life of the lamp of up to about 100,000 hours, which is 100 times that of the incandescent lamp, high-pressure gas discharge lamp 5 times to 15 times, the compact fluorescent lamp of 5 to 10 times.

The gas generated by a simple magnetic discharge light. The use of the high frequencies produced by the electronic ballast, the electromagnetic transformer toroid composed of a metal coil in the glass tube (containing gas) to create a magnetic field around. Caused by the coil, the discharge path forming a closed circuit, thereby causing the acceleration of the free electrons. These free electrons and tribute atoms collide with the excited electron. Because activation of electrons from the high-energy state to a lower energy state, they radiate the ultraviolet rays, ultraviolet rays generated is converted into visible light when the glass surface through the trichromatic phosphors. LVD electrodeless lamp unique shape to optimize the effect of the magnetic field generated. Electrodeless lamp is a new invention of the electric light in the lighting industry, LVD induction lamp advantage is obvious, compared with the traditional light source, LVD induction lamp is your best choice.
