Why does keakage switch trip?
2013-02-17 12:27:19

Leakage switch tripping reasons:
(1) wire load too much current is too large to cause tripping, this case based on the leakage current is to configure the number of lighting fixtures and hid ballast.  The solution:
a increase line power factor (plus compensation capacitor)
b reduce the number of wire load lamps;
c increase the number of safety GFCI (rated current)
(2) the ballast breakdown or the lamp wire breakage lamp housing contact and cause leakage protection, this problem should be checked according to the actual situation, should be able to detect and high pressure sodium ballasts based on the actual replacement or repair of damaged wire appears.
